This is Girl.She was dumped in the woods in the winter.We adopted her and couldnt agree on a name so we call her Girl.We want to liveaboard part-time and take her with us.Any issues at marinas or other boaters come up?She loves people and doesnt bother anyone till the grill is fired up.

Having had pets aboard I personally will not do it again. I sold my boat at a terrible loss and returned to shore because our "babies" did not adapt well to the boat . This BTW was a 46' beast with a flush deck so leg room wasn't an issue. Couldn't stay way from the boat for even one night. Other people have other better experiences but mine taught me never again.

Im starting small with the sailboat to let the wife adapt to liveaboard.Probably 33-36 Hunter.The dog loves water and hanging out so she wont be the issue.My youngest wants to go NOW!Ill stay with the smaller boat if the wife cant adapt to liveaboard and use it for a getaway and for my boys and grandson to learn to sail and scrub hulls and decks.
