So, living in a landlocked and very cold part of the Great White North, I often find myself taking vacations to recharge my own solar battery. Southern California has always been a favourite of mine.
What I'm curious about is whether anyone would recommend some not-to-be-missed sailing events and parties that I could plan my travel itinerary around. I'm already hitting a boat show whenever I can, but I'm sure there are some really fun events and parties on a smaller scale occuring that an in-the-know sailor could point me towards.
What are the most fun, wildest and/or craziest sailing get-togethers out there?
