I don't think the avatar setting is turned on, at least I couldn't find a way to post one in my UCP. And there's no way to see your member number displayed by your username. Just an FYI.

It is strange to not have an avatar option. You can imagine the details involved in the magazine start up and all of it's smaller parts. We'll get the tech folks on the avatar and member number after the website launch ... soon.
