Cruising Outpost

First let me tell you what we don't want.
1. Crew looking for paid position.
2. Couple "working" on their relationship.
3. NO DRUGS!
4. Couple where one or the other really doesn't want to be out of the sight of landing.
5. Seasickness
6. Unwillingness to do what needs to be done.

Now what we would like.

1. A couple who loves to have fun.
2. Familiar with sailboats
3. Would be neat if one of the couple was good with diesels.
4. Enjoys cooking once in a while.
5. Not limited by medical problems.
6. Enjoys a drink once in a while.
7. Scuba friendly.
8. Is laid back go with the flow type.

What we offer.
A 60 ft. Sailboat, with just about every toy you can imagine!
Boat is in Frt. Lauderdale till the middle of Dec.
Planning on hanging out in Keywest till the end of January. Then headed south for months.
We are looking for a couple that we can count on to pull their weight and enjoy it.

I'm big and I think some airlines claim I'm two people...oh well no one wants a single fun loving guy that has no desire to have a romantic relationship anyone (no time, no how, no way am I looking anything remotely romantic, and that includes sex with with anyone I'm not going to marry soon!). keep me in mind if you need a free hand in exchange for some Knowledge and pointers.

We just saw your post and are interested in exploring this further.

Suzanne and I have been sailing since 2000. We are ASA certified through coastal navigation -- ASA 107 (?). We have chartered on Lake Michigan out of Traverse City 3 times including a 7 day cruise to Mackinaw Island. Have also sailed the Apostle Islands out of Bayfield Wisconsin, Lake Superior twice. Caribbean experience is in BVI -- two 7 day and two 14 day charters.

Suzanne is as competent as I am...maybe more so at the helm. She is usually at the helm when we dock or anchor. She led a ladies only charter to the BVI with 3 of her friends.

We both enjoy cooking.

We are Padi certified divers and have dove Cozumel, San Salvador, Roatan and BVI (3 times). Are scheduled to dive Little Cayman in January.

I grew up farming with large diesel tractors, have overhauled a diesel, so have basic diesel experince.

We currently own and sail a Beneteau 331 with Yanmar 3GM30 diesel. We sail on Mark Twain Lake, a Corp of Engineer lake near Hannibal, Missouri.

Is your master yacht equipped with a Cat-O-Nine Tails and a proper whipping post and a bottle of rum?

It appears they are paying all expenses?
Doesn't sound like a delivery but more of a you earn your way and we pay the expenses?
Is this such a bad deal for a couple who are willing to do what they want for a winter in El Caribe? If you were on your own boat would you not do all that stuff and pay for all the expenses?
Is there between the lines stuff I don't understand?

the one thing that does sound a bit hinky to me is the name. Waterxprt anyone who immediately suggests they are "expert" but heck if they can afford a 60' sail boat must be expert at something LOL

Well I thought it was funny.

I'm a retired industrial refrigeration / BAS tech - all round wrench.
If I had an other half who still wanted to sail I'd jump on this in second.
But she cannot be away from her grandchildren so I bought an itty bitty boat for me ......

Ohhh the agony...

Wanted, a good woman who can dig worms, catch, clean and cook fish willing to provide total maintance and cost on the sailboat that she owns, willing to open and provide beers as needed. Please send photo of sailboat.
