Bill the sheves on that mast will take line. You will find out 3/8 will fit in there very nice. That has the same sheves as my boat. So if you can find some 3/8 line around jut pull it through with old haylard.

I have used splice nuts for a few years rather than making an eye splice, It is stronger than a splice. They are reuseable also.

Let me know when you get there. Hope to move FIA in the next few weeks.

Thanks, Joe. I'll have to get nearly 300' of 3/8 rope. I don't know how to connect the wire and rope and make is stay connected, so I really prefer to stick with all rope. I might can shave some of how much I need, off by re using my old halyards for my jib. Also, I got a manual printed out.

Just stitch the rope ends together and pull it thru. Works every time. :D
